Deputy ensures that the government did not please truck drivers, “There was nothing positive”.

The president of the mixed parliamentary front in defense of the autonomous and celetistas truck drivers of the national congress, Nereu Crispim, guarantees that the government has failed in the attempt to end the problems linked to the trucker category.

Nereu Crispim was elected federal deputy in the year 2018, the year in which there was the last so-called strike of the professionals, states that in recent years “there has been nothing positive” about all the attempts of the government in measures in favor of truck drivers.

The deputy also points out that the minister of infrastructure (also transportation portfolio) Tarcísio Gomes de Freitas, is only at the service of large companies and leaving aside those who need it most, the self-employed.

Nereu says that he establishes a constant dialogue with representatives and members of the trucker category at the congress to try to meet and resolve the drivers’ demands.

Crispim still guarantees that there will be a truckers’ strike. In a scenario where the category can no longer stand being left aside, the only thing missing is the union, especially of the independent truckers, for a strike to take place.
